Your LPG Subsidy

Except for Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur districts of Himachal Pradesh, Direct Benefit Transfer scheme has been started for all the LPG consumers of all the district of the State. In order to avail the subsidy/ benefit on Gas Cylinder, consumer are required to link their bank account with their corresponding Aadhaar number for which they have to provide/ submit the requisite documents/ information at their nearest Gas Agency and Bank. Consumers whose Aadhaar number is not yet linked with their corresponding bank account are requested to contact their nearest Gas Agency as soon as possible so that they may avail the benefit/ subsidy. Consumer, if any, are not getting their subsidy amount transferred into bank account provided by them for this purpose or Consumer who are registering the complaints in the department that they are not getting the subsidy amount on Gas transferred into their bank account from the past few months are requested to follow the certain steps:

To provide/ submit the copy of their Aadhaar letter alongwith their bank account information to the nearest Gas Agency.

  • To submit the copy of their Aadhaar letter in corresponding bank also.On booking of first Gas Cylinder, Rs.435/- (1st tranche of subsidy) will be transferred into the consumer bank account. After few days of receiving of Gas, Rs.556.46/- (Final tranche of subsidy amount) will be transferred into the consumer bank account.
  • Consumers who have not yet enrolled are requested to enroll themselves under Aadhaar as soon as possible so that they may avail the benefit/ subsidy on Gas Cylinder.
  • Consumer who have deposited/submitted the copy of their Aadhaar letter in their corresponding Gas Delivering Agency and Bank but are not getting their subsidy amount transferred into corresponding bank account, can get their grievance/queries addressed by calling on a toll free number 1800 233 555.
  • Further, instruction have already been issued to the respective Gas Agencies to send the details of Aadhaar linked bank accounts of house hold LPG consumers to their corresponding banks so that consumers may get subsidy in a stipulated time period. Consumer, after following above mentioned steps still not get the Gas subsidy amount can register their complaints by calling on telephone no. 0177-2626709.
